Australian prog band UNITOPIA is ascending with a vengeance
With artwork from renowned surrealist Ed Unitsky and groundbreaking musical styles (can't pigeonhole these guys) from Sean Timms and Mark Trueack - this band is a feast for the ears. Not withstanding, the eyes have it too - as evidenced in this incredible animation sequence to the Unitopia song 'Inside the Power'.

I spoke with lead vocalist Mark Trueak (Truey) in November 2009 as they were recording the latest album 'Artificial'. He told me they were experimenting with new sounds and ready to break out on their own - with ambitious projects involving several top international musicians, and a world tour. Artificial is just the start... There's more for UNITOPIA fans, much more!
