We still can’t figure her out! CutieMish, the YouTube phenomena who burst on the scene in March 2006 remains an enigma. Her star shows absolutely no sign of fading, and she continues to capture the hearts and minds of millions of ‘alternate tv’ viewers and MySpace community network-ers. Of particular note is Mishy’s personal message about the article published at Teducation.com – her answer is revealed further on, so keep reading!
Countless folks have mimicked her. It’s possible to view video-after-video of CutieMish imitators on YouTube. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, is Mishy flattered? I would think not. And if you take the time to look at the hundreds and hundreds of comments listed under her videos, there is one name that’s never there. How extremely clever, when you think about it. Mishy sets the machine in motion and the momentum carries itself.
Sometimes, however, as is inevitable, the Mishy PR machine needs a little push. And what Mishy wants, Mishy gets. She seems excellent at gauging reactions, artfully timing each move. Or perhaps not. That’s the enignma. Perhaps it’s simply her uncontrived sincerity.
For example, Mishy noticed recently that her YouTube subscription count was approaching that of Paris Hilton, what did she do? Simple – since she has over 8308 (plus) Friends on MySpace, all it took was a simple request. She broadcast a MySpace Bulletin, making it ever so easy for those friends with a single click, to add themselves to her subscription. As Mishy herself put it, “I’m better than Paris Hilton”.

Furthermore, as people are slowly finding out, it is near impossible to do a good imitation of Mishy. People who try actually end up elevating Mishy’s status, because their level of badness (whether intentional or not, I’ve heard enough fake British accents!) pales in comparison and end up making Mishy the Original look even better. NO ONE CAN COMPETE WITH MISHY (not even Paris Hilton!)
Mishy is accessible to the masses both at YouTube and MySpace. She will add you quickly as a MySpace Friend. From there, she will broadcast her latest blog entry, latest video, or photos. She even shares her creative writing and road trips while at the same time apologizing if everyone does not find them appealing. She never apologizes however, for being ‘herself’.
In the previous article I used the word ‘unpretentious’ to describe this young hotshot. I stick by my choice of words. She is indeed un-pretending in everything we have seen and heard. She’s not imitating anyone. To herself she is being ‘plain ole Mishy’, and the public fuss seems undeserving. That would explain her honest humbleness.

I am not an enthusiast teenager, I am 69 years old, I have met thousands of girls in my life; I worked in 17 companies, most of which with 3 or 4 thousand employees; so I can say with convincement that this girl is special.
Cutie mish appears at the same time the same as a hundred million other girls in the world and yet at the same time she is completely above them.

She doesn't base herself on cosmetics, nudity, etc. Sometimes - on purpose - she tries even to appear "ugly" : all her charm she bases exclusively on winning natural ways, on an extraordinary taste for music, on body gesticulation elegance, on personal magnetism. When one sees her, mysteriously they start to feel happy ...it is magic!
One would love to have her as a daughter, as a sister, as a fiancée, a cousin, a niece, a friend…
I wonder if the secret of her fascination comes from her mother, her father, her brother or it is genetic? Perhaps there is a hidden Pygmalion who has directed her since the beginning? I prefer to think that her behaviour is innate and so I congratulate you for having used the word "genius" and for the psychology of the portrait you made.
If you approve my idea, I would suggest that you publish your portrait of Cutiemish tweened also with mine, if you deem so, (mention it as coming from an Italian unknown reader of her and of your comments...) and ask her to have her father and mother read the matter.”
